Select the day and time you want for your New Patient appointment. From there, you’ll be asked to create an account and fill out insurance information and health intake questionnaire.

Make sure you remember your account information when you first create your account. When you log in again, you will be given an option to log in through your google or facebook account (if you have one) and it will create a new separate account. • No, acupuncture and dry needling are different services and treatment models.

  • Both the chiropractic and acupuncture initial visits are an hour long. This is because Dr. Kris goes through a thorough history of your complaint, performs a comprehensive evaluation and also provides treatment in the same visit (pending no red flags).

For the acupuncture visit, wear loose clothing as there could be areas of the body that needs to be accessed for needling.

  • Dr. Kris will provide you with instructions on how to care for your body after a chiropractic or acupuncture visit. Most important thing will be to always stay hydrated!

  • Because every body is different, some may respond to chiropractic care or acupuncture immediately, or it may take some time.

Under acute conditions, your body has inflammation, so we need to calm that down before we see more progress in the treatment plan. Under chronic conditions, your body has been going through the pain or discomfort for a while, so it has adapted to that new “normal”.

With proper alignment, improved range of motion in the joints, reduced inflammation, your body will be feeling and moving better.

  • Yes and no. The way Dr. Kris does her treatment plans does not have patients coming in every week for the rest of their lives, unless that’s what the patient wants.

Dr. Kris has her new patients come in weekly until she observes that the patients are improving. Then she increases the time between each visit so the body can adapt to the alignment longer. Between Dr. Kris’ decision and the patients’, they both decide plan of action moving forward, whether it is every 2 weeks or monthly visits, or even just pop up to get adjusted.

Think of it as getting a tune-up for your car. Your body needs that too depending on their lifestyles, and that is why patients come in to get adjusted often.
