About the Dr.

Dr. Kris Mercado is a Chiropractic Physician & Acupuncturist with focus on soft tissue therapy, rehabilitation and acupuncture. She attended National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois where she graduated with her Doctor of Chiropractic and Masters of Science in Acupuncture degrees in 2021. Dr. Kris also treats prenatal and postpartum patients and is certified in the Webster Technique. 

Dr. Kris has spent part of her childhood years in Michigan and also graduated from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor with a Psychology degree, concentrating in Neuroscience. While she has lived in different cities across the country, she finally chose to come back to Michigan for the third time and work in the Metro Detroit area to serve the community.

Dr. Kris is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, American Society of Acupuncturists, International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, Michigan Association of Chiropractors, and Michigan Society of Acupuncturists.

Outside the office, you can find Dr. Kris at sporting events as she is big fan of football and baseball. She is also a runner and is currently training for her first marathon!
